Coming together as a Team and finding the best in ourselves!

I don't know about you guys, but I thought that Friday's field trip to Temescal Canyon Park was about as fun as it gets! It was so wonderful to see how each of you stepped up to the plate and really gave your best, for yourself and your team!

I'd love to hear your thoughts about Friday's teambuilding. What was the most exciting part for you? What parts of the event really suprised you? What impressed you? And most importantly, what did you learn about yourself? about your team?

Please post your responses using the comment feature below.

The most exciting part of the Temescal Canyon field trip was trying to get our whole team into the Spider web's holes and not touch the web. The part of the event that surprised me was when our team wore a mask and made almost a square with some rope. Another one that surprised me was when I fell off the platform and landed in everyone's arms. what impressed me was that it was fun and the games were challenging. I learned to tryp new things and that working as a team in games are fun.

I was surprised that I trusted everyone and fell backwards from the platform. I was not scared because I had already seen people do it and knew they would catch me. I bet if there were no teams that I couldn't have made a square. Working in the masters team is fun.

It was very fun on Friday. My favorite game we played was "SPIDER" You had to trust your team mates to not drop you so you wouldn't end up touching the "spider web."

I think that the most exiting part was falling backwards into every ones
arms. I was not very nervous because I
had watched people do it for about 12
minutes before I got to do it.
I learned that it is really easy to do something when you work together.

I think the exercises were challenging.
The answers were logical and simple which is why were confused at first. We were looking for it to be harder.
The most challenging for me was to let go and fall into everyone's hands.
That was scary. The exercises taught that we have to trust each other to work as a team and that you can be successful working as a team.

I agree, Friday's field trip was a blast! I really enjoyed working as a team to overcome the challenges. My favorite challenge was where we had to count to twenty, and when two people, or three, or four say the same number at the same time, we have to start over! It was a lot of fun because after a long time of trying, we finally got it. I learned that our team is a great group of people that will work together well and have a fantastic time doing it!

The most exciting part was falling off the platform. What suprised me was that we were able to count from 1-20 without being interruped. I thought the activites really helped!

Friday's activity was really really fun. I thought that when Peter said we were going to have fun he meant the type of fun that teachers mean (not so fun) like extra math problems or 50 vocab words or making arts and crafts out of colored paper. But what he meant by fun was actually fun! I especially liked falling off the platform. It was really fun.

I thought that the field trip was a great success. I thought it was fun and built great teamwork and trust between me and my new MASTERS class mates. My favorite part was when we each had to get up onto that beam and fall back into the interlocked arms of our teammates. I thought it was very helpful in building trust and helping self-confidence in our group. I thought that I was very helpful. I learned that our team was very encouraging to each other when we were in doubt and it was very helpful to know how much we appreciate each other.

On friday i really liked to see how well everyone could work together without arguing or having problems 0--we just worked together and heard each others ideas, or at least that's how i felt. Personally I was proud of myself when i fell back because at first i thought it wasn't that hard. I was cheering everyone on. But when i got up on the platform, it seemed higher than I thought it was going to be. IT felt really good, everyone was cheering me on.
